In a Nutshell:
The American Dream is alive and well;
but the FUNDING of the dream is "not."

48% of Americans dream of
starting their own businesses.

In America,
BROKE looks "normal,"
9 out of 10 of us will never
achieve financial independence.

Shark Tanks Across America solves both of these issues.

What could YOUR FAMILY do with a few extra bucks each month?

Here's some ideas: less stress over paying bills each month, roast instead of burgers, pay off the credit cards and get out of debt, fund a retirement account, send the kids to camp or college, buy a new car or house, go on vacation, check off those bucket list items, support your favorite causes or charities...which may just be yourself or your grandchildren!

Problem: Money

My name is Nancy Gaskins. I've been a Serial Entrepreneur since childhood. I've worked in a variety of industries and executive level management positions across the USA and around the globe.

I've worked with hundreds of Executives, Small Business Owners, Wannabe Entrepreneurs, Non-Profits and listened to THOUSANDS of business ideas inside and outside the classroom and boardrooms.

Based on my own personal experience and the experience of others, there's a common thread of discussions that nearly always rises to the surface and both revolve around "money."

Issue 1:
The American Dream is Alive and Well
but "funding the dream" is another story.

Who Wants To Be An Entrepreneur?
48% of Americans dream of starting their own business.
51% think about it for about two years
51% who launch are between the ages of 50 - 88
69% start their businesses from home
40% are profitable, 30% break even, 30% lose money
82% fail because of cash flow

Access to affordable funding for small business startups is a huge obstacle. Startup funding is very limited and next to impossible for most Entrepreneurs. A "couple hundred or a couple of thousand dollars" may as well be a "million," to many families, which makes starting a small business out of the question for many of those who have the dream and the desire.

Startups always end up costing more than the Entrepreneur expects; that $1,000 startup can easily inch up to $2,500, $5,000, $10,000 or more. 82% fail because of lack of cash flow. When the cash or credit line dries up...so does the business and the dream.

Even with the lighter regulations and more online options available, most Entrepreneurs don't know where to "go" for funding. For those that do happen to find an option...more than likely, the entrepreneur can't qualify, isn't properly equipped to "pitch," their business idea nor do they know how to negotiate a good win-win deal.

Issue 2:
In America,
BROKE looks NORMAL.

Despite outward appearances, the majority of American families are struggling financially. We live paycheck to paycheck and are up to our eyeballs in debt. Many are underemployed or working in jobs for which we have no passion because we "need," the paycheck.

It's hard to believe, but ninety percent; that's 9 out of 10 of us are a heading straight towards financial disaster and we either don't know, don't care or don't know what to do about it!

TRUTH: Too much month at the end of our money!
90% of all American will never achieve financial independence; i.e. 9 out of 10 of US will be forced to stay in the workforce, re-enter the workforce or rely on government assistance to pay for our most basic necessities of food, shelter and healthcare. I'm talking about you, your neighbors, family and friends. No one is exempt and that includes high income earners and high status career fields like docs, lawyers and business owners. You are BROKE, just at a  HIGHER level.

If you'd like some social "proof," just take a walk through your local grocery stores and retailers on any given day and notice how many "elderly" people are now working. They aren't working because they "want" to; they are working out of necessity to stay afloat! Think of all those who aren't physically able to work during their "golden years."

Keep doing what everyone else is doing and you will end up just like them; broke and miserable!
