Help us fill in a "gap" for the women of NW Florida!
Most are familiar with the famous saying, "
give a man a fish, feed him for a day; teach him how to fish, feed him for a lifetime."
Our goal is to give families throughout our region and across the nation access to the tools and resources they need to learn how TO FISH for THEMSELVES.
We offer Life Enrichment Programs that are designed with a clear set of objectives, accountability and no room for ambiguity or red tape restrictions.
NO Hand-OUTS: a Pay It Forward Concept
As Applicants achieve milestone objectives and become more self-sufficient, our neighborhoods, communities and region will benefit.
This program is not designed as a "hand OUT, but rather a hand-UP; requiring Applicants to
"pay it forward,
" by Sponsoring another family and helping them achieve self-sufficiency.
The Pay It Forward Concept
has the potential to keep our program funded into perpetuity. The more families we can help, the more families we can continue to help as graduates of our program begin to pay it forward; creating a massive ripple effect that can be spread nationwide.
We have a shortage of affordable housing options in our region. Demand far exceeds the supply. Home sales boom cuts inventory and boosts median price, making it even more difficult for families who may be struggling financially.
Jeremiah 29:11 Ministries, Inc. is inviting the general public
to join us in our efforts to "
stand in the gap
," to help women who have already achieved certain milestones and making clear progress towards self-sufficiency to TRANSITION to the next level without having to rely on government assistance programs.
Emerald Coast Chateaus;
fully-furnished homes in quality neighborhoods throughout the region will soon be available for single moms, divorcees and widows who have full-time jobs, don’t yet have the resources available to live independently, but have a deep desire to become self-sufficient without the use of government assistance programs.
By combining resources, sharing household responsibilities and supporting one another, each family can have a much safer, better quality of life and standard of living.
The program is income-based and applicants are required to work with a team of coaches, accountability partners and attend hands-on workshops and training sessions. The goal is to complete all self-sufficiency milestone objectives and if applicable, transition OFF any government assistance programs within 24 to 36 months.
Applicants are not required to be on any type of government assistance program to qualify; they DO have to demonstrate financial need and meet the following minimum requirements.
Financially unable to live independently.
Full-time job for 1 year or longer
$10 per hour x 40 hours per week = $400 Weekly Gross Income
*Women who are Divorced - Widows - Single Moms With Custody of 1 or more Children
(We have plans to add the same program for men in the future.)
*Court ordered child support & maximum efforts in place for child support enforcement (if applicable)
*Agree to House Rules of Conduct & Responsibilities
*Pass Monthly Home Inspections
*Satisfactorily complete program objectives and mutually agreed upon goals established each week, month, quarter and year.
In a Nutshell:
Applicants pay 30% of their gross income towards their housing, 10% for training & development and our program subsidizes the remainder.
Should an Applicant fail to meet their milestone objectives, they will be removed from the program and the amount of their Grant subsidy will be billed and due within 30 days of receipt.
Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. A waiting list is expected. Upon receipt of an Application, an initial telephone and live consult will be scheduled to make sure the Applicant is eligible for participation and the program is a good fit.
As funding for housing becomes available, Applicants will be notified and room mate compatibility interviews will be scheduled and conducted.
Emerald Coast Chateaus is a community service project of Jeremiah 29:11 Ministries Inc.; an educational, religious and charitable 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Your gift may qualify as a charitable deduction for federal income tax purposes.

It is our hope and prayer to raise enough capital through donations and
in 2018 to:
*Purchase, furnish and maintain 5 homes (1 per county)
*Provide a team of financial and life coaches for individual and group sessions.
*Purchase and provide resources and training material
*Facilitate monthly and quarterly life enrichment classes, workshops, activities and events throughout the region and make available to the general public.
*Maintain a cash reserve of 1.5 years operating expenses + emergency fund.

Purchase VS Lease
Although it will take far less resources for Plan B, quality rentals in our region are very hard to come by and landlords in our region will likely be hesitant to lease to us and consider our Tenants a much higher risk.
Our crowdfunding campaign and monthly and quarterly Sponsorships will help lower the risk because we will be able to show that we have adequate cash reserves in place to fund each project for a 12-month lease period.

Phase 2: Tenant To Home Buyer Program
The next phase of this project will be to help each family transition from Tenant to Home Buyer within a 3 to 5 year time frame. It makes sense that our Tenants may desire to purchase the home they are currently living in. We'd like to help them make that transition.
